Ingredient List
Pure Essential Oils
Each of these Aroma Therapy products is made from a Custom blend of All Natural Pure Essential Oils.
My number one priority is to provide an all-natural way to achieve the mindfulness that you are looking for. Whether it’s a sense of peace and tranquility or a surge of creative energy… there is an Aromatic Affirmations product that will get you there.
Saponified Oils
All of the oils used in my hand soap, shave soap and shampoo bars are processed by the chemical process known as saponification. This is a generations-old process of mixing oil mixtures with lye to produce fatty acid salts and glycerin. The fatty acid salts are the cleansing agents in soap and the glycerin is a natural moisturizer that is produced in the saponification process. Because the lye is fully consumed in the chemical reaction with the oils, it is not listed as an ingredient. This also means that the soap is naturally balanced in pH to be gentle on the skin and hair.
Tussah Silk
My shampoo bar contains cruelty-free tussah silk as a rich source of nourishing amino acids for the hair. This silk is well-suited for cosmetic use because it contains short silk fibers that are easily converted to amino acids during the saponification process. Unlike silk that is harvested from Mulberry trees, Tussah silk is harvested from oak trees AFTER the caterpillars and moths have left the cocoon, so they are not harmed in the process.
Fragrance Oils
Because essential oils cannot sustain the harsh conditions of saponification, I prefer to use fragrance oils in my soap products. Rest assured that I only use fragrance oils that are certified for cosmetic use and are phthalate-free….so you can enjoy the sensational experience of aromatherapy without the fear of harmful chemicals on your skin.
Talc-Free Body Powder
Talc has been a hot topic in the body powder market…Although talc is certified as a non-inflammatory mineral, it is mined in a way that can be contaminated with arsenic - a known carcinogen associated with the incidence of cancer with long-term use. I make my body powder with Cornstarch, Arrow Root Powder and Kaolin Clay to provide a natural mixture of moisture-absorbing ingredients without any risk from dangerous contaminants.
